French weather-girl keeps to her word and presents her forecast in the nude

Millions of viewers were on edge as they tuned in to see whether Doria Tillier presented her Canal+ weather forecast NAKED on Wednesday evening, as she promised.
The French stunner vowed to take her clothes off should France pull off a remarkable comeback from 2-0 down against Ukraine in their play-off match on Tuesday.
They did that - winning 3-0 at the Stade de France - and Tillier didn't disappoint, giving a bare, yet professional performance in front of the television cameras.

It may not have been the video you were expecting though, as the former model and actress was filmed in the distance in the tiny hamlet of 'Poil', and it is there where her plans became clear.
'A Poil', in French, translates as 'stark naked', or 'in the nude' in English. You can't argue with the facts!
The 27-year-old showed her confidence in Didier Deschamps' sides' inability to progress to Brazil next summer by making her promise, but the 1998 World Cup winners proved her wrong helped by a Mamadou Sakho double.
Tiller was clearly getting worried, as after France scored their second goal to draw level, she tweeted: 'F***. 2-0 for France. I'm starting to stress.'
After the attention and ratings she and her television show received, we may see some more outrageous forfeits from the French nightly news presenter come next June.

According to a press release, she has indeed managed to shed 'an astounding amount of weight' thanks to surgeries, physical therapy, rehabilitation and huge changes to her diet.
But with her new 400-pound body, she must learn to carry out normal activities she has never been exposed to, like grocery shopping and job hunting.
Last year, TLC aired a TV special about Mayra's murder trial and acquittal, in which she was accused of smothering her two-year-old nephew Eliseo to death by falling on him with her 1,000 body.

At the time, her lawyer Sergio Valdez told the court: 'It would have required her to have to swing her arm to strike the child on the head but she could never move her arm in that manner.'
Mayra then testified that she witnessed her sister Jaime using a brush to hit her son Eliseo repeatedly on his arms, legs and head.
'We were all trying to cover for my sister,’ she testified from her bed, to which she was confined because of her weight.
'There was abuse from her towards her son. She yelled at him. She kicked him. On that night Junior didn't want to eat and she got frustrated and she hit him on the head with a hairbrush.

Medal of Freedom award from President Obama

Talk show legend shows off streaks of lightened hair as she accepts the Medal of Freedom award from President Obama

Oprah Winfrey’s hair exhibited a variety of new shades this afternoon when President Obama bestowed her with the prestigious Medal of Freedom at the White House.
It appears that Oprah, who has previously admitted to using wigs to give her natural hair a rest, used the occasion as an opportunity to show off some new highlights or a streaked hairpiece.
Sections of honeyed hair graced her sleek layered bob at the ceremony, echoing the looks of her best friend Gayle King and first lady Michelle Obama.

Unclear: It's unknown if Oprah's hairstyle today came courtesy of a sleek blowout or a highlighted wig

Oprah visited the White House this afternoon to receive the award alongside 15 other recipients, including former President Bill Clinton and women’s rights advocate Gloria Steinem.
She wore a form-fitting black, A-line dress to the event with long sleeves and a lace-embellished hem.

Photos of the legendary talk show host from as far back as August show her with streaked hair, but it is only recently that Oprah looks to be sporting warmer-toned hair colors.
On November 15, five days prior to the White House ceremony, Oprah paid a visit to The Jonathan Ross Show in London while promoting her film The Butler. Her hair was fashioned into a style similar to the one seen in Washington today.
But just one day before, on November 14, Oprah attended a Q&A in London with a curled, much-longer style.

She has previously admitted to using wigs at times when her public schedule is slammed in order to protect against excessive hair damage.
In fact Oprah wrote a letter in O magazine’s September issue, which was dedicated to hair, where she chalked up the benefits of wearing a wig.
‘During the Oprah show years, we used wigs intermittently to give my hair a break from the daily grind of styling,’ she wrote.

The letter was accompanied by a photo of Oprah’s natural hair texture, which is much more coarse than the sleek strands she exhibited in Washington today.

VIRGINITY TO BE SOLD FOR $1.5m.

Remember the 21-year-old Brazilian tD MORE:  http://news.naij.com/52490.html
READ MORE:  http://news.naij.com/52490.html
he Brazilian college student who attempted to sell her virginity through an online auction last year is hoping lightning will strike twice.

In October, 2012, Catarina Migliorini was offered $780,000 for her virginity from a Japanese millionaire who bid for the privilege through a controversial online auction.
That deal was never consummated, but now she is attempting to do it again through her own website, VirginsWanted2.com.
"Well, after being featured by so many media outlets in so many countries, I decided to actually auction off my virginity," she told The Huffington Post by email via a translator.
The bidding ends Dec. 12, but Migliorini said the minimum bid for her to get into bed is $100,000. She told the Brazilian website PurePeople.com.br that her goal is to get $1.5 million.
Migliorini's previous auction was part of a proposed documentary called Virgins Wanted being made by Australian filmmaker Justin Sisely.
The auction made Migliorini a celebrity and Playboy cover girl in her native country, but also aroused controversy and skepticism.

In November 2012, after the auction, Brazil’s attorney general, Joao Pedro de Saboia Bandeira de Mello Filho, threatened Sisely with sex trafficking charges if the deal between Migliorini and Natsu took place.
Medical experts like Dr. Elizabeth Lyster, a board-certified gynecologist in Foster City, Calif., were incredulous, mainly because the time-honored technique of using an intact hymen to measure virginity is not foolproof, since it can be ruptured from activities like running or inserting a tampon.
"It causes a lot of problems in religious circles," Lyster told The Huffington Post.
Migliorini disagreed with the doctor and said she is prepared to do whatever it takes to prove she is truly a virgin.
"I am willing to subject myself to any exams that are necessary," she said. "When I say I am a virgin it's because there is no one in the world that can prove the contrary. I never had sexual relations of any type with anyone, not vaginal, not anal and not oral."
Migliorini said she pulled out of the original auction after she was introduced to the reputed auction winner, "Natsu." She didn't think he fit the description she had been given previously and became suspicious.
She also said she believes Sisely was trying to defraud her and others with his documentary.
“He wanted to forge words and phrases, situations and even feelings that did not exist,” she said. “For a while, I agreed but then I disagreed. To me, a real documentary must be something spontaneous.”
She also claims Sisely still owes her 20 percent of the money he is earning from the documentary.
Sisely has denied all of Migliorini's allegations and claims she breached their contract on at least two occasions.
"Aside from that, she failed to show up on filming days on several occasions. After being warned," he told HuffPost earlier this year. "After two years and three visa refusals trying to get her to Australia, she left the country for a fashion show in Brazil during filming."
He also said the finished documentary will support his side of the story.
Based on the reaction to her first attempt at selling her virginity, Migliorini is prepared for negative comments and is OK with them.
"I know that this is not a very conventional decision, but it is my decision," she said. "I am the sole owner of my own body. I am of legal age and have the right. I accept all criticism whether positive or negative, because talking is a right for all and is free."
She also is fine with other women following her lead, such as "Shatuniha," the 18-year-old girl from Siberia who recently sold her virginity for $27,000.
"Of course I don't care," she said. "The sun rises for all of us."

WHAT IS SCIENTOLOGY?

The house that Scientology built: Tom Cruise and John Travolta are in the front row to see opening of $145m cathedral where members will be trained to develop 'super powers'

  • *Less than 6,000 turned out for the unveiling of Scientology's new Flag Building in    Clearwater, Florida yesterday
  • *Actors Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Kelly Preston were in attendance
  • *It is the tallest building in Clearwater, Florida and the home to Scientology's 'Super Power' program
  • *The church broke ground on the building in 1998 but construction has been off and on for the past 15 years

Actors Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Kelly Preston were in attendance yesterday as thousands of Scientologists gathered in Clearwater, Florida for the dedication of their new $145million 'cathedral'.
The 377,000-square-foot Flag Building is the tallest building in downtown Clearwater, and has been in construction for nearly 15 years. The opening of the building will mark the first time Scientologists have a place to practice the 'Super Power' program, developed by the religion's founder L Ron Hubbard in the 1970s.
While the city was told to expect 10,000 Scientologists this weekend, the crowd gathered outside the Flag Building yesterday was noticeably smaller. The Tampa Bay Times estimated that numbers could have been less than 6,000.

The ceremony was for parishioners only but even born-and-bred Scientologists couldn't get into the exclusive dedication ceremony.
Danielle Lumberg is a third-generation Scientologist who belongs to the church in Clearwater, but wasn't allowed past the thick security surrounding the new buidling.
Instead, she stood outside the event and tried to get as good a look at the new building as possible.
'It sounds like Disney World in there,' she told the Tampa Bay Tribune.

But she didn't seem to hold any grudge against the church for not letting her into the event.
'Thank God it's finally done,' she said. 'There are so many more people joining the church we really needed more space so we could be more comfortable and do more things for the community, and the response today is absolutely breathtajing. We've been looking forward to this for a long, long time.'
Brad Kugler is a second-generation Scientologist from nearby Palm Harbor and he too wasn't allowed into the ceremony.
Mr Kugler climbed a palm tree just for a better vantage point into the ceremony.
'I've been watching this come out of the ground for the better part of 15 years. It's huge,' he told the Tampa Bay Times.
After a quick eight-minute speech by Scientology's leader David Miscavige, confetti-rained down and the cathedral's doors were opened to the thousands gathered outside.
But for non-church members excluded on the outside, the building's opening was not a celebration. Around four people were seen protesting the event in Guy Fawkes masks, while other locals weren't happy at the religion's takeover of the city.

HOW TO BECOME SUPERHUMAN THE SCIENTOLOGY WAY

The Super Power course was developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard and  promises to boost a person's perceptions or senses through a series of mental and physical tasks.

Scientologists believe that in addition to the five senses of hearing, sight, touch, taste and smell we have 57 additional abilities known as 'perceptics'.

These include an ability to sense blood circulation, balance, compass direction, temperature, gravity as well as an 'awareness of importance, unimportance.'

In his writings Hubbard described the course as: 'A superfantastic, but confidential series of rundowns that can be done on anyone whether Dianetic clear or not that puts the person into fantastic shape unleashing the super power of a thetan.

'This is the means that puts Scientologists into a new realm of ability enabling them to create the new world. It puts world clearing within reach in the future.

'It consists of 12 separate high-power rundowns which are brand-new and enter realms of the tech never before approached.'

Hubbard had originally wanted to offer the course in 1978 but many of his staff who had been through the instructor training left the church on completion of the course.

In a written statement, church spokesman Ben Shaw said: 'Super Power is a series of spiritual counseling processes designed to give a person back his own viewpoint, increase his perception, exercise his power of choice, and greatly enhance other spiritual abilities.'
'People don't want to come to downtown Clearwater because that's all you see — big groups (of Scientologists) walking everywhere. Downtown Clearwater could be a really interesting, vibrant place,' said Debbie Halvorsen, 62, of Largo.
Mo Iskander would disagree. The local restauranteur sees the center's opening as a money-making opportunity. He opened his new restaurant Mixx Bar and Bar and Grill yesterday as well and aims to bring in Scientology parishioners.
'The church will play a big part in bringing attractions, festivals and nightlife to the downtown area, and we're just the first,' he said. 'The Scientologists are always well dressed, they look nice, and they keep our city a nice place. And they need to eat, too.'
The group broke ground on the Mediterranean Revival-style  building in 1998, but stopped work after finishing the shell.
For three years, the group ceased construction on the project until the city started imposing $250-a-day fines for code violations.
Scientology defectors have explained that the building's slow construction is due to church leader's who have allegedly used the project as a fundraising cash cow.
An analysis by the Tampa Bay Times discovered that the church had raised $145million for the building, much higher than the $100million it was estimated to cost.
Former Scientologist couple Rocio and Luis Garcia of Irvine, California contributed more than $340,000 to the construction of the Super Power building, before ultimately suing the church in federal court for dragging out the project 'as a shill'.
Church representatives have described the Garcia's suit as 'frivolous'.
While the new building is part of a larger complex of buildings that serve as a spiritual retreat for Scientologists, there will be space on the ground floor for visitors to learn about the religion.
The visitor center will have a 'grand lobby' with a three-story atrium and exhibits that explain the religion's belief system and practices.
The second and third floors are home to offices and classrooms while the basement houses a huge kitchen and dining areas.
Three hundred small rooms for 'auditing' can be found on the buildings upper floors. Auditing is the religions form of counseling and a session can cost $1,000.
But the jewel in the crown of the Flag Building is on the fifth floor, where members can pariticapte in the Super Power program for the first time.
The Super Power program was developed by the religion's found L Ron Hubbard and described as one of his greatest discoveries.
'Super Power is a series of spiritual counseling processes designed to give a person back his own viewpoint, increase his perception, exercise his power of choice, and greatly enhance other spiritual abilities,' church spokesman Ben Shaw said in a statement.
Hubbard went further in his description of the program saying: 'Super Power is the answer to a sick, a dying and dead society...With it we literally revive the dead.'
As part of that therapy, members will be spun on an anit-gravity simulator blindfolded to improve their 'perceptics' - Hubbard's 57 senses which include sight, smell, taste, blood circulation, and awareness of awareness.
Another interesting feature of the building is the circular running track located on floor six.
Scientologists use the track for 'Cause Resurgence Rundown'. Basically they run until they have a moment of enlightenment called 'cognition'.
