Obabiyi Aishah Ajibola (21) from Nigeria finally was elected to be the World Muslimah 2013. Obabiyi, who is a student at the University of Lagos is able to obtain 65 out of 100 votes from orphans who attended on the Grand Final World Muslimah 2013, which was broadcast live from Sarbini building, Jakarta on the evening of September 18, 2013.
The event lasted for about 2.5 hours and it was quite festive and heart-warming. Show of gratitude was expressed by Obabiyi after she was declared as winner of the World Muslimah 2013 contest. Obabiyi was considered better than other 19 finalists comprised of 14 candidates from Indonesia and 5 candidates each from Nigeria, Iran, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and Bangladesh.
The twenty finalists previously attended an 8 days workshop (10-17 September 2013) in Jakarta covering 3S: Solihah (pious), Smart, and Stylish materials. Candidates were secluded  during that period followed by evaluations on learning/deepening Qur'an, religion / aqidah, beauty, fashion, and life skills sessions.

Rofi Eka Shanti, is the initiator of the World Muslimah event. The Muslimah ambassadors election have been conducted for the last three consecutive years since 2011. Obabiyi will reap the prize of pilgrimage to the holy land of Mecca, accompanied by one of the orphans among the 100 parent less children who were actually the final judges of this competition. Muslimah World 2014 is scheduled to be held in Brunei Darussalam, inshaa Allah.

he will entomb his brand new Bentley Continental worth over £310,000 to make sure he has a comfortable journey into the ‘other side’.
