A thrill-seeking couple decided to have sex on the train tracks in Ukraine.
Unfortunately for them, trains were still in service at the time and they were run over by an oncoming train.
The woman died instantly and her boyfriend lost both of his legs when they were hit by the train.
The couple was having sex on the tracks in the city of Zaporozhye when the train ran them over.
Police said the couple had embarked on the morning romp after a night of drinking.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene while her 41-year-old lover was taken to a hospital with both legs severed.
The couple was on their way home from a party at a friend's house when they were overcome by the desire to have sex. The daring couple decided to do it right then and there, on the train tracks.
"The man told police they had not managed to overcome their natural passion when walking home, and wanted to experience an extreme sensation near the train tracks," the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said.
The driver later told police that he saw the couple and honked, "but they went on with their business."
