Actress Funke Adesiyan (Okiki Aje) wins Oyo state APC primary

 Yoruba actress, Funke Adesiyan, has become one of the fewentertainers who have been able to translate their popularity in the make-belief world into a political career as she has been able to clinch the All Progressive Congress, APC, ticket to vie for a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly during the primary of the party held in Ibadan, the state capital.

Funke who joined her colleagues like Desmond Elliot and Kate Henshaw to try her hands in politics, will be aiming to represent the Ibadan South-East State Constituency in the House come 2015.

Apart from Desmond and Funke, most entertainers who tried out in politics have been falling by the wayside.
