'The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back,' sources tell Us Weekly.

According to another insider, the 29-year-old rapper was too 'needy' for the 30-year-old reality star.
'It grated on her that he became so dependent on her,' the source said.
Khloe's mother Kris Jenner also disapproved of the relationship and 'told Khloe all the time,' the first source told the publication.
Another friend said her sister Kim and stepfather Bruce were 'very skeptical' of the musician and were concerned he was with her only for her fame.

French himself admitted last month that he was taking advantage of her celebrity and the attention it brings him.
'I want to capitalize on it,' he admitted. 'I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on.'
In a somewhat cryptic tweet, Khloe appeared to respond to his remarks: 'It's amusing to me that Y'all think I don't see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don't care.'
